Winthrop Upsets #1 Methuen & #2 Burlington in South!

After dismissing the Blue Wings in the quarters 3-0, Winthrop upset #1 Methuen 3-1 to move onto the final. In the Championship Burlington jumped out to an early 2 goal lead in the first period. Parker scored late in the 2nd to pull Winthrop within 1. Dioz knotted the game at 2 on a Ferrara feed with just 5:14 remaining in the game. Just 3 minutes later Ferrara finished the upset with an unassisted goal at the 1:34 mark.

Dracut Hangs on for 3-2 Victory to Win the East!

Dracut hung onto a 3-2 victory over No Andover to win the East

Despite going 0-1-1 against No. Andover during the regular season, Dracut pulled out a 3-2 victory over the Knights in the last and most important game of the year!

E9 Prep Showcase League; U18, U16 & U15

The Elite 9 Hockey League is excited to announce the 2017-18 E9 Prep League. The E9 Prep League will offer a Showcase Division that will feature the top 8 Midget/Prep Teams in New England at the U18, U16 & U15 level. By limiting the Showcase Division to include only the top 8 teams at each level, the E9 Prep Showcase Division

Winthrop Vikings Hold Off Groton Dunstable!

Winthrop and Groton found themselves in the final after upsetting the #1 and #2 seeds in the semifinals. Winthrop rolled in their semi with a decisive 10-2 win over #1 Peabody, while Groton had a tougher time but advance 4-3 over #2 No. Andover. Winthrop held off a late flurry by Groton to take home the 6th South title by a score of 6-4!

Danvers Falcons Defeats the Ponders 3-2!

Both Danvers and Arlington had a tough road to the finals. Arlington squeeked past Saugus 6-5 to advance, while Danvers eliminated Somerville 6-4 in the other semifinal. As expected the Championship was another hard fought battle and a 1 goal victory for the Falcons.

Hamilton Wenham Breaks the Tie!

After dismissing the #1 and #2 seeded Amesbury and Beverly in the semifinals Hamilton and Wilmington found themselves in the Central finale. These two had skated to a tight 1-1 tie just a few short weeks ago but the Generals were able to come out on top in the season series and the final 3-1!

Lincoln Sudbury 6th Grade Wins the North!

Lincoln Sudbury 6th Grade knocked Reading out of the playoffs last season in the Quarterfinals. The Rockets were looking for some revenge and had beaten Lincoln in both meetings during the regular season. Lincoln however was able to hold off a 3rd period barrage and took home the title with a 4-1 win!
